b4c4a95009 build: update recommended launch vscode config to use proper bazel dist path (#47831)
As of Bazel v5, the `bazel-out` symlink no longer exists. This commit
corrects the path in the VSCode recommended launch configuration. This
helps speed up this launch configuration given less files having to be
explored.

effc079831 build: use "outFiles" in .vscode/launch.json to speed up debugging sessions (#39848)
This commit adds the "outFiles" config options into the .vscode/recommended-launch.json, which helps speed up
the startup time of a debugging session by limiting the number of files that should be loaded.

fb92f5de1a build: fix @bazel/bazel to bazelisk leftovers (#36132)
A few leftovers from from `@bazel/bazel` to `@bazel/bazelisk` migration
are still there. This commit fixes those, so that the repository no
longer relies on `@bazel/bazel`.

5e3f6d203d build: migrate references and scripts that set to build with ivy via compile=aot to use config=ivy (#33983)
Since config=ivy now sets the define=compile flag and the define=angular_ivy_enabled
flag to cause usage of Ivy, we can update all of the documentation and scripts that
reference compile=aot to use config=ivy.

f78bda9ff0 build: add recommended config files for VSCode remote development (#30450)
Add some recommended config files to use (as is or as basis) for setting
up [remote development using docker containers][1] with VSCode. This is
an opt-in feature. See `.devcontainer/README.md` for more info.

The configuration can be further tweaked/improved, but is a good
starting point.

2b974d4012 build: add VSCode extension recommendations (#28784)
Previously, the VSCode settings for the workspace specified the
`clang-format.executable` setting to configure auto-formatting to use
`clang-format`. Yet, this setting has no effect without the extension
that provides that configuration option namely [xaver.clang-format][1]).
For people that didn't have the extension installed, VSCode would use
the default formatters, resulting in vastly different file fomatting.

This commit adds a set of [rcommended workspace extensions][2], to help
people get the right extensions when checking out the repository.

The recommended extensions are:
- [gkalpak.aio-docs-utils][3]:
Utilities to aid in authoring/viewing Angular documentation source
code. Currently, mainly aid in working with
  `{@example}`/`<code-example>` tags.
- [ms-vscode.vscode-typescript-tslint-plugin][4]:
Add auto-linting for TS files using `tslint` while editing.
- [xaver.clang-format][1]:
  Add auto-formatting for JS/TS files using `clang-format`.

3a6e443e19 build: update VSCode settings to limit auto-formatting on save to JS/TS files (#28784)
Previously, auto-formatting on save was enabled for all file types,
which meant also using default VSCode formatting settings for files
where this was not desirable - for example HTML files (such as
angular.io and docs examples templates) and JSON files (such as Firebase
configurations).
This was problematic for the following reasons:
- Unlike with JS/TS files, the formatting of other file types is not
  checked/enforced on CI.
- Formatting is subject to default VSCode settings and everyone's local
  VSCode settings overrides.
- Especially for docs examples files, changing the layout might require
updating the wording in corresponding guides (e.g. when referring to
  line-numbers).

If we decide that we do want to lint those other file types as well
(which sounds like a good idea), we should do it in a way that ensures
consistent formatting and check the formatting on CI.
