## Handling BUGs
- [Which bugs should be on the sprint board](#which-bugs-should-be-on-the-sprint-board)
- [Bugs on Product Roadmap Board](#bugs-on-product-roadmap-board)
- [Unreleased Bugs](#unreleased-bugs)
### Which bugs should be on the sprint board
- Bugs that the team picked in the sprint kickoff
- Critical bugs
- Non Released bugs
### Bugs on Product Roadmap Board:
EM will go daily over the bugs in INBOX column and address them as follows:
- If its a critical bug —> move it to the RELEASE BOARD to be handled this sprint (Even if need to swap with another task)
- If not critical, move to SPECIFIED so it will be estimated, or if not enough information work with PM/QA to complete the info.
### Unreleased Bugs
Bugs found in current sprints work and was not yet released:
QA person will create a new BUG issue and put it the RELEASE BOARD READY column and label it with “not-released”. If this was caused by a story the team did this sprint, QA person will set the new bug as BLOCKING the original Story as a "Dependency" and put the Story in the WAITING column.
EM will take one of these two actions:
- Solve the bug before the release. (Preferable)
- Revert the PR that caused this bug.
## Engineering Initiated Issues

- [Process](#process)
### What are Engineering Initiated Issues
Engineers can have ideas how to add value to our customers.
FleetDM would like to capture these ideas and encourage engineers to file them as issues.
Any idea that stands the rules of LEAN development, which means it adds value to our customers is welcome.
(Adding value could also be in an indirect way for example: shorten the dev time by doing something --> this in turn will bring more capacity which will add value to our customers)
### Process
- Open a tichet (issue) and label it with: engineering-initiated, story, g-cx/g-mdm/g-infra/g-website, product. Make sure the ticket is in the Roadmap:Inbox column.
- ask your EM/PM to request that this issue will be discussed at the nearest Design-Review meetings.
- attend this meeting or ask your EM/PM to attend it to present the idea.
- If accepted, put the issue through the regular process (design --> estimation--> prioritization etc)
- We aspire to have 20% of each sprint allocated to Engineering Initiatives. In the Sprint Kick-Off try to include as much of these items as our situation allows.
## Release process

This section outlines the release process at Fleet.
The current release cadence is once every three weeks and is concentrated around Wednesdays.
