## Compensation changes
Fleet's founders [evaluate and update compensation decisions yearly](#workiversaries), shortly after the anniversary of a team member's start date.
Compensation at Fleet is determined by benchmarking (we use [Pave](https://pave.com)) with role, experience, location, and performance. Annual raises are not guaranteed, particularly when compensation is already strong relative to benchmarks.
