Alan Agius 6d4e68977f build: update release script to support changelog cherry-picking ... This commit updates the release script to support cherry-picking changelog updates to the main branch when releasing from a patch branch. It also introduces a marker in the changelog to separate releases and ensures the GitHub release uses the formatted changelog from disk.
