Refactor to use async/await for clearer asynchronous operations and enhanced error handling.
Simplify resource caching and streamline the resolution of component templates and styles.
Update in the router to align with the new async resource resolution.
Currently when loading external resources in JIT, when `fetch` fails,
the `text` is empty and the component is loading. This hides the actual
underlying fetch error. We should properly detect this and error out.

A lot of our tests are wrapped in `{}` which serves no purpose, aside from increasing the nesting level and, in some cases, causing confusion. The braces appear to be a leftover from a time when all tests were wrapped in a `function main() {}`. The function declaration was removed in #21053, but the braces remained, presumably because it was easier to search&replace for `function main()`, but not to remove the braces at the same time.

Adds support for passing in `@Component.styles` as a string. Also introduces a new `styleUrl` property on `@Component` for providing a single stylesheet. This is more convenient for the most common case where a component only has one stylesheet associated with it.

Component defs are not considered public API, so the property
that contains them should be prefixed with Angular's marker
for "private" ('ɵ') to discourage apps from relying on def
APIs directly.
This commit adds the prefix and shortens the name from
`ngComponentDef` to `cmp`. This is because property names
cannot be minified by Uglify without turning on property
mangling (which most apps have turned off) and are thus
size-sensitive.
Note that the other "defs" (ngDirectiveDef, etc) will be
prefixed and shortened in follow-up PRs, in an attempt to
limit how large and conflict-y this change is.

Currently with ViewEngine, if someone runs the platform's
`bootstrapModule` method in order to boostrap a module in
JIT mode, external component resources are properly resolved
*automatically*.
Currently with Ivy, the developer would need to manually call
`resolveComponentResources` in order to asynchronously fetch
the determined external component resources. In order to make
this backwards compatible with ViewEngine, and also since
platforms can already specify a `ResourceLoader` compiler
provider, we need to automatically resolve all external
component resources on module bootstrap.

Since the `ResourceLoader` is part of the `@angular/compiler`,
because ViewEngine performed the factory creation in the compiler,
we can't access the `ResourceLoader` token from within core.
In order to workaround this without introducing a breaking change,
we just proxy the `ResourceLoader` token to `core` through the
compiler facade. In the future, we should be able to move the
`ResourceLoader` to core when ViewEngine code no longer exists in
the `@angular/compiler`.

When we resolve a component `templateUrl` we copy the contents of the
resolved template file into the `template` property.
Previously we would then remove the `templateUrl` to indicate that
the component has been resolved. But this meant that we no longer had
access to the URL of the original template file. This is essential for
diagnostics messages about the template compilation.
Now the existence of the `template` property overrides the existence of
`templateUrl`, which allows us to keep the `templateUrl` property.

This format would only work with JIT and with ES5. This mode doesn’t
allow build tools like Webpack to process and optimize the code, which
results in prohibitively large bundles. We are removing this API
because we are trying to ensure that everyone is on the fast path by
default, and it is not possible to get on the fast path using the ES5
DSL. The replacement is to use TypeScript and `@Decorator` format.
