28926ba92c feat(core): introduce BootstrapContext for improved server bootstrapping (#63562)
This commit introduces a number of changes to the server bootstrapping process to make it more robust and less error-prone, especially for concurrent requests.

Previously, the server rendering process relied on a module-level global platform injector. This could lead to issues in server-side rendering environments where multiple requests are processed concurrently, as they could inadvertently share or overwrite the global injector state.

The new approach introduces a `BootstrapContext` that is passed to the `bootstrapApplication` function. This context provides a platform reference that is scoped to the individual request, ensuring that each server-side render has an isolated platform injector. This prevents state leakage between concurrent requests and makes the overall process more reliable.

BREAKING CHANGE:
The server-side bootstrapping process has been changed to eliminate the reliance on a global platform injector.

Before:
```ts
const bootstrap = () => bootstrapApplication(AppComponent, config);
```

After:
```ts
const bootstrap = (context: BootstrapContext) =>
  bootstrapApplication(AppComponent, config, context);
```

A schematic is provided to automatically update `main.server.ts` files to pass the `BootstrapContext` to the `bootstrapApplication` call.

In addition, `getPlatform()` and `destroyPlatform()` will now return `null` and be a no-op respectively when running in a server environment.

810b0a7e5c refactor: add explicit types for exports relying on inferred call return type (#61312)
As part of the Bazel toolchain migration we noticed that implicit types
generated by the TypeScript compiler sometimes end up referencing types
from other packages (i.e. cross-package imports).

These imports currently work just because the Bazel `ts_library` and
`ng_module` rules automatically inserted a `<amd-module
name="@angular/x" />` into `.d.ts` of packages. This helped TS figure
out how to import a given file. Notably this is custom logic that is not
occuring in vanilla TS or Angular compilations—so we will drop this
magic as part of the toolchain cleanup!

To improve code quality and keep the existing behavior working, we are
doing the following:

- adding a lint rule that reduces the risk of such imports breaking. The
failure scenario without the rule is that API goldens show unexpected
diffs, and types might be duplicated in a different package!

- keeping the `<amd-module` headers, but we manually insert them into
the package entry-points. This should ensure we don't regress
anywhere; while we also improved general safety around this above.

Long-term, isolated declarations or a lint rule from eslint-typescript
can make this even more robust.

70bdb88b0c fix(platform-browser): ensure platformBrowserTesting includes platformBrowser providers (#60480)
Previously, `platformBrowserTesting` did not include any `platformBrowser` providers, causing an inconsistency with `platformBrowserDynamicTesting`.

This update resolves the issue by restructuring platform inheritance to ensure proper provider inclusion:

- `platformCore → platformBrowser → platformBrowserTesting`
- `platformBrowser → platformBrowserDynamic → platformBrowserDynamicTesting`

Now, `platformBrowserTesting` correctly inherits from `platformBrowser`, aligning with the expected behavior.

4fa5d18e5a feat(bazel): support bundling .d.ts with code splitting (#60321)
Instead of relying on Microsoft's API extractor for `d.ts` bundling,
we are switching to Rollup-based `.d.ts` bundling.

This allows us to support code spliting, even for `.d.ts` files,
allowing for relative imports to be used between entry-points, without
ending up duplicating `.d.ts` definitions in two files. This would otherwise cause
problems with assignability of types.

It also nicely integrates into our existing rollup configuration, and
overall simplifies the `ng_package` rule even further!

Notably `tsup` also uses this rollup plugin, and it seems to work well.
Keep in mind that Microsoft's API extractor is pretty hard to integrate,
caused many problems in the past, and isn't capable of code splitting.
This aligns our d.ts bundling with the .mjs bundling (great alignment).

06452af31f fix(platform-server): remove dependency on @angular/platform-browser-dynamic (#50064)
Using `@angular/platform-browser-dynamic` is no longer required for JIT scenarios with Ivy. Instead `@angular/compiler` should be imported instead.

This change is part of the effort to reduce the server bundles sizes, which is needed to support cloud workers.

7de1469be6 feat(core): introduce EnvironmentProviders wrapper type (#47669)
This commit introduces a new type `EnvironmentProviders` which can be used
in contexts where Angular accepted `Provider`s destined for
`EnvironmentInjector`s. This includes contexts such as `@NgModule.providers`
and `Route.providers`.

The new type is useful for preventing such providers from accidentally
ending up in `@Component.providers`. It can be used as the return type of
provider functions (such as `provideRouter`) to enforce this safety.

Because `Provider` allows `any[]` nested arrays, the compile-time safety
provided by `EnvironmentProviders` is easily circumvented. However, the
runtime shape of `EnvironmentProviders` is not compatible with component
injectors and will result in a runtime error if it leaks through (NG0207).

A new function `makeEnvironmentProviders` is used to construct this new type
from an array of providers.

The existing `importProvidersFrom` operation previously returned a very
similar type `ImportedNgModuleProviders` which had the same goal. This
machinery is switched over to use the new `EnvironmentProviders` interface
instead (in fact, `ImportedNgModuleProviders` is now just an alias to
`EnvironmentProviders`).

46c44de0cc refactor(platform-server): include TransferState providers into ServerModule (#46899)
This commit updates the code to include the TransferState providers (used for serialization) into the `ServerModule` instead of having the need to import the `ServerTransferStateModule` separately.

d322052db3 refactor(core): guard against importProvidersFrom in components (#45838)
`importProvidersFrom` provides a bridge from the world of NgModule-based DI
configuration to the new, "standalone" world of direct providers and
environment injectors. Early user feedback suggested some confusion around
where this function was supposed to be used, particularly around importing
NgModule-based providers into standalone component `providers` arrays, which
is not the intended use. This confusion is exacerbated by the fact that due
to the unified `Provider` type, this kind of misconfiguration was happily
accepted by the type system.

This commit changes the return type of `importProvidersFrom` to wrap the
returned providers in an opaque type that prevents them from being used in
component provider contexts. This, together with stronger documentation
around the purpose and functionality of `importProvidersFrom`, should
address some of the above confusion.

209a73ede6 test: update api goldens to reflect api-golden bazel rule change (#45461)
The API golden Bazel rule has changed in the shared dev-infra code. Instead
of putting golden API reports into the golden folder as per their original
location in the NPM package, golden reports are now stored based on the
package exports. This makes it more obvious how entry-points are consumable

As part of this change, since the API golden rule now consutls the NPM package
`exports` field, the `localize/tools` entry-point golden file is now generated.

Previously it wasn't generated due to it not having a secondary entry-point
`package.json` file. Such package json files should not be needed anymore
and will be gone in future APF versions.

43ecf8a77b feat(platform-server): allow shimming the global env sooner (#40559)
`@angular/platform-server` provides the foundation for rendering an
Angular app on the server. In order to achieve that, it uses a
server-side DOM implementation (currently [domino][1]).

For rendering on the server to work as closely as possible to running
the app on the browser, we need to make DOM globals (such as `Element`,
`HTMLElement`, etc.), which are normally provided by the browser,
available as globals on the server as well.

Currently, `@angular/platform-server` achieves this by extending the
`global` object with the DOM implementation provided by `domino`. This
assignment happens in the [setDomTypes()][2] function, which is
[called in a `PLATFORM_INITIALIZER`][3]. While this works in most cases,
there are some scenarios where the DOM globals are needed sooner (i.e.
before initializing the platform). See, for example, #24551 and #39950
for more details on such issues.

This commit provides a way to solve this problem by exposing a
side-effect-ful entry-point (`@angular/platform-server/init`), that
shims the `global` object with DOM globals. People will be able to
import this entry-point in their server-rendered apps before
bootstrapping the app (for example, in their `main.server.ts` file).
(See also [#39950 (comment)][4].)

In a future update, the [`universal` schematics][5] will include such an
import by default in newly generated projects.

7768aeb62f fix(platform-server): Resolve absolute URL from baseUrl (#39334)
This commit fixes a bug when `useAbsoluteUrl` is set to true and
`ServerPlatformLocation` infers the base url from the supplied
`url`. User should explicitly set the `baseUrl` when they turn on
`useAbsoluteUrl`.

Breaking change:
If you use `useAbsoluteUrl` to setup `platform-server`, you now need to
also specify `baseUrl`.
We are intentionally making this a breaking change in a minor release,
because if `useAbsoluteUrl` is set to `true` then the behavior of the
application could be unpredictable, resulting in issues that are hard to
discover but could be affecting production environments.

d37049a2a2 feat(platform-server): add option for absolute URL HTTP support (#37539)
In version 10.0.0-next.8, we introduced absolute URL support for
server-based HTTP requests, so long as the fully-resolved URL was
provided in the initial config. However, doing so represents a
breaking change for users who already have their own interceptors
to model this functionality, since our logic executes before all
interceptors fire on a request. See original PR #37071.

Therefore, we introduce a flag to make this change consistent with
v9 behavior, allowing users to opt in to this new behavior. This
commit also fixes two issues with the previous implementation:
1. if the server was initiated with a relative URL, the absolute
URL construction would fail because needed components were empty
2. if the user's absolute URL was on a port, the port would not
be included
